Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget
  • Set and maintain firm construction schedules
  • Develop detailed project plans that identify timelines, resources and budgetary needs
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure best terms and pricing
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project team and senior leadership
  • Lead and mentor Project Team
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Oversee field work/subcontractor accountability
  • Lead kickoff, milestones and closeouts are completed for projects
  • Host project meetings at least once a week with project team(s)
  • Provide feedback, advice, project updates and mentorship to project managers
  • Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaboration with various departments to ensure seamless project execution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle
  • Data collection for client satisfaction methods/tracking

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, related field and/or equivalent experience
  • P.E. Preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on commercial construction projects/mechanical services
  • Ability to provide work-class customer service in a fast paced, high-performance culture
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints
  • Solution-oriented
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented, quality and accuracy driven mindset
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
  • Clean drivers license
